Abstract


This paper explores the main themes of pastoral ministry and theology in a multiethnic congregation. Specifically three main themes relating to the benefits and cost of multiethnic congregations, the role of pastors in the pastoral ministry as well as the management strategies and dynamics are addressed. This critical analysis addresses relevance of these themes to a multi-ethnic Christian congregation. The study chapter adequately explores the nature of theology in relationship to the pastoral ministry, investigate the biblical context, and the scope and practice of pastoral ministry in the Christian church, and the variety of approaches to pastoral care applicable to multi-ethnic congregations in England
